Friday, June 17, 2005 - City vale

Haha weird title right? Well that's where my piano teacher lives anyway. It's like in orchard =/ Therefore to enter by car you have to pay ERP. Which isn't too good.

Anyway had piano lessons there today! Woohoo! My finger still hurts though and so does my wrist. Like... really really badly. Like someone plucked it out from it's socket. (okay there's isn't a socket but it's a joint) So had lesson in agony and spent half the time complaining and not listening to what my teacher was saying. Which wasn't much.

He did play phantom of the opera though =D So he sat on the comfy couch pressing the buttons on the remote while i struggled to play in time to the singing. Music of the night went well of course, it's pretty slow. Then there's Sarah Brightman's killer Think of Me. Which was like a bullet train kind of speed. Which meant i pretty much died out every 2 lines at first, then every 2 bars when there was a change in keys.

Oh oh and for chopin, he played some yoga thingie with birds chirping and all that weird stuff. Apparently that was what made Chopin inspired to create the mood for the pieces since that was probably what he heard at his desk in front of the garden. Oh and it's supposed to recreate the mood and make me play better. Well obviously i played better, i focused totally on the piece trying not to laugh and kill the grandpiano in the process

Aside from this, not much happened today. Getting pretty tired from running around everyday
