Thursday, June 30, 2005 - Yayayayayay

I have decided i like this blog alot. Cause it has a cool name and cool template and cool um... everything til i feel like going back to the tomato. Went into non blogging mode for a while and never really switched back.

Wells. Following the last post was the um... second day of school! And we erm. Got back our time table. Am dropping history for math and have to choose between art and music. I shall repeat that, art and music. like. WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND DOES THIS??? it's like like like art Or music. not art And music. and. well i took both. erm. yesh. well that was the freaking out bit where i go totally nuts for the next 5 minutes. Even Gabriel's whistling and Joshua's constant whacking didn't have any effect.

So wells. Went home on tuesday with a =(

On wednesday. OW big trouble. Like we did monday's time table. and then i forgot totally about piano lessons. the SECOND time. well... the after effects aren't very interesting. oh. mr ang for physics teacher! woohoo! rocks la! then after that cheng for math! and and and toh for chinese! and flo for english! and tan for lit! yups yups... it was a good day spoilt by stupidity and forgetfulness

Today! One day before youthday! Finally talked to Gracia once again. Man i really miss those people!!! I shall run off on youth day if chem is done =) Um... Ms Seah for bio. Erm. I was hoping for mr soh cause he is cool! oh wells. we kinda knew what was taught today so it wasn't a very interesting class. man. math class no one showed up. went for art! yups. i droppd music in the end. don't ask why. it's no challenge i guess. but it might pull my cap up. i don't know. see first. then um. chinese! i was so guai i did my homework and sat with roy again. as expected his answers were three times the length of mine. but mine didn't lose out on content =) and i did the last section too! Last class was forensics with Mr Sukandar! Woohoo! we watched CSI

Monday, June 27, 2005 - Last post

Haha today is the first day of school! so i will not be posting anymore i guess... i'll update this during holidays yeeah! Like some holiday log and the other one can be the boring old sludge of (almost)everyday life. Woohoo!

Such a pity though... i just changed the skin =/ no matters i shall work on it next holiday... which should be um... youthday!

The first day of school has no homework yayayay! But then this time we sat in the LT for like ages and ages and ages and ages. All the way until 3.30pm! no change of scenery whatsoever! Then later the SLs had to stay back cause of youthday! So um.. yeah more time in the LT

Oh and Miss cheong is no longer our mentor!!! WAAAAAAHHHHHH! MISS CHEONG WE WILL MISS YOU ALOTALOTALOTALOT!!! (and your ice creams and treats) BUT WE WILL MISS YOU MOST!!! Aww... I shall make something nice on youthday haha... cause she doesn't look that old yet.

They havent given out the timetables yet... will be posting on the tomato tomorrow!

Thursday, June 23, 2005 - Thursday

Was supposed to go out with LY and YQ and sam? Haha... guess we've all gotten too busy this year so don't really have time anymore. Oh wells... deal with it. was kinda disappointed i guess, looked forward to a good catching up session after such an exciting nonholidaylike holiday. and and and i left my day open too!

so i hibernated for a while

and went out for a short while

and came back with nothing to do, no new book to read and ziltch to occupy my time...

i lasted a couple of hours before i nearly attempted to walk through my bedroom walls. then i remembered a humble little black box, so quiet, not boasting of what it can do to kill the boredom that was slowly taking over. I rummaged through the stack of newspapers for the Life! section and took down all the shows. Ah.... Lost at 10... not that bad after all =D

After half an hour, i realised why the 'humble little black box' was keeping so quiet. It had nothing good to show :@! I nearly choked to death with the suffocating boredom creeping all the way up to my neck.

headed for the computer in a desperate attempt to save myself. was rewarded with enough conversations to keep me busy.

and lost was cool today =)

Wednesday, June 22, 2005 - Lunch

was at harbour front with the yoyo dood and shaun!

and went to leonard's house

and um

lost every game on the PS

except for one

which i didn't play anyway

Oh and piano lessons.

OH and.

They game me wrong directions!!! I asked leonard and joshua which side of the road take 100 can go ghim moh and they said dont' need to cross the road la!!! So i didn't and where did i end up? All the way on the other side of singapore! ARGH! I ended somewhere like ARAB STREET?!!!

Haha... didn't want to admit it but i was lost >.<

Butbutbut i got home in time for piano lessons! How pro is that =) With alot of help of course XD

Tuesday, June 21, 2005 - School again lol

Went to school to create the website but couldn't get through! Ahhh!

Haha it sucked.

Anyways i almost forgot... went to visit my dear old grandma! Whee! 3rd aunt wasn't there... she looks kinda fierce so it was okay =) Anyway 2nd and 1st aunty was there so we just sat around and talked the whole time XD it was so fun!

And then school yeah after a lunch of fishnchips (fishingchips =D)

But in the end we ran off to macs and then to play lan cause of a lack of something to do. It was so slack haha... watched the two guys play CS and got super tired again lol.

Saturday, June 18, 2005 - Dance

Whoopee. Went to the hiphop studio again today

I'll say the whole place moves like turtles. Incredibly slow. Surely a simple dance routine wouldn't need such a long warm up time? I swear it was close to half an hour just to loosen those joints and what nots. Well. Forget about those, it's not really important.

The class learnt kinda slowly, had 2 and a half sets done by the end of the class. The movements aren't really demanding, just requires abit of speed that's all. It's like for every count there's a whole bunch of stuff to be done =/ Not to mention this huge fella was blocking my view of the instructor >.< There were some pretty cool moves though, i liked the slides most of all cause well... it's easy! And it looks cool too ^^

Mom was hanging around the salsa room (shhh i don't think the guys are that hot anyway) and we left once the classes ended. Not bad i should say =D

Friday, June 17, 2005 - City vale

Haha weird title right? Well that's where my piano teacher lives anyway. It's like in orchard =/ Therefore to enter by car you have to pay ERP. Which isn't too good.

Anyway had piano lessons there today! Woohoo! My finger still hurts though and so does my wrist. Like... really really badly. Like someone plucked it out from it's socket. (okay there's isn't a socket but it's a joint) So had lesson in agony and spent half the time complaining and not listening to what my teacher was saying. Which wasn't much.

He did play phantom of the opera though =D So he sat on the comfy couch pressing the buttons on the remote while i struggled to play in time to the singing. Music of the night went well of course, it's pretty slow. Then there's Sarah Brightman's killer Think of Me. Which was like a bullet train kind of speed. Which meant i pretty much died out every 2 lines at first, then every 2 bars when there was a change in keys.

Oh oh and for chopin, he played some yoga thingie with birds chirping and all that weird stuff. Apparently that was what made Chopin inspired to create the mood for the pieces since that was probably what he heard at his desk in front of the garden. Oh and it's supposed to recreate the mood and make me play better. Well obviously i played better, i focused totally on the piece trying not to laugh and kill the grandpiano in the process

Aside from this, not much happened today. Getting pretty tired from running around everyday

Thursday, June 16, 2005 - Blading

Heh woke up like noon time ^^ spent the whole night reading again til like, 4? 5? Haha... if my mom knows i think she'll flip. One step closer to being nocturnal.

Well anyway today was supposed to meet up with aunty therese (okay fine, i don't know how to spell) and jen and aunty bree (fine! i really don't know okay?) and charmaine. only that charmaine and her mom wasn't really confirmed and blah.

anyway they came over at like 1 plus with some guy called zhiping. haha he's pretty nice though abit quiet. charmaine wasn't coming =/ so wells, we went to NYDC for lunch and guess who we bumped into along the way? charmaine! haha... out with her friends...

so lunch was, well, pretty uneventful... was debating whether to read under the table but decided it was abit too rude. anyway, was occupied stealing paper napkins from the nearby stack ^^

later on we went to bedok i think. some place with this skating ramps like youth park, just, well, more legal. haha... i didn't bring along my blades (they are broken) so went to like rent one. just that the place wasn't open. so i helped myself. of course, they were either too small or too big, but eventually found a passable one that didn't kill my feet

so blade blade blade and fall >.< sucks man. my wrist and thumb still hurts okay. but still we continued and raced =) whee! of course i'm fast man! (shhh... the rest were pretty banged up too) (but my thumb!) (and wrist!)

haha so that's all man, woohoo!

Tuesday, June 14, 2005 - Again

Went out again today. No surprise ^^of course i woke up late enough for lunch as with most holidays, sleeping a 2 plus from bloggin and whatevers. Not a vry interesting day i think, spent most of it reading. Go read the time mag for this week. It's got this interrogation thingie as a cover story about some guy who was supposed to be the 20th hijacker. No idea who is that? Go read.

Mm then there is cleo! Heh... actually bought cleo. All the pretty colours inside. Of course, most of the stuff inside there have like 3/4? digit price tags. Search for the full stop seperating the dollars and cents, if you're lucky, it just might be under a hundred bucks.

Oh and i found out i have the dead zone at the back of my cupboard! Woohoo! And for that matter some jeffrey archer books! Heh, this holidays might not be such of a waste after all~

- The first post =)

Haha... yup this is a new blogg la... seems like my little holiday project became my perm blog for the last semester. woohoo! yup and since it's the holidays once more i'll do up a new blog again! Whee! Same template and stuff like last year but hey, it works okay.

The first two weeks of the holidays were freakishly busy. Didn't even have time to post. Hmm i've got time now, might as well start with...

Week 10: thursday! was the last day of school also the interhouse carnival. had um, sports and all that la. spent some time with my house in a sea of green people walking about haha. We did pretty well overall for sports, came in second =D andre got first for badminton (of course!) haha... the house pride and joy for badminton ^^

then on friday to sunday was student leader camp! we had to pack al sorts of stuff there like plates and all that. Then mikel was super cool lah, he brought plates and cups for everyone so our table always looked so nice and uniformed. Haha... it was like we had to do lots and lots of pushups!

First week of holiday: monday had projectile starting bit lah... started to a whole two week thingie that killed half the holidays

tuesday and wednesday was math olympiad. no tranings this year. sucks

thursday and friday was stock challenge! We were freakishly close to the top hmph

and i chose my subjects

and i'm gettting tired with the first post, i'll add abit more about each event in different posts. It looks super messy now. Ciao!

Sunday, June 12, 2005 - Frazzled nerves

Somehow during the day i've been super on the edge. don't ask me why. i probably can't remember why i was so irritated already. lessee... we'll start with the morning.

church. well... i suppose the speaker was pretty entertaining, but he goes off topic alot. and by that i really mean off topic. like from be fruitful to handphones in the car. mm... yup. but hey, in his message he did say not to become a problem centric church, so i won't pick bones.

sundayschool. will you come to church if your parents don't allow? well, everyone's saying yea, i could take the easy way out and say so too. only... (looks at number of days absent) well, go figure out. oh did i mention we have daily assignment to record our quiet time? erm like. homework. daily stuff. like... what is your problem. here people have worked half their holidays away and you got nothing better to do and ask us to write our quiet times out? what's your deal man. though yup, i'm not going to argue, i'm forwarned that no one will win that argument.

movies. some guy left his handphone one. that someguy so happens to sit on my left. that some guy glared at me when his handphone rang. i glared back.

after the movies. the escalator spoilt. crowds flocked into the shopping mall to use the escalator not realising that it would be faster to walk down the escalator. not mentioning less energy wasting and stop polluting the air inside the mall. oh did i mention, some person walked halfway down, then realising there was a working escalator like 100 steps away, walked the halfway up to get a free ride.

in the bookstore. some guy talking about his life in the reading section. it was like some counselling session, only he was letting the whole world hear it at the same time. Not that anyone was interested. I nearly slammed my book in his face. Ironically, it was stephen king's the dead zone.

in the car. getting lost is not a good thing. getting lost in the middle of the night is worse. getting lost and tired and hungry kinda wraps up the whole thing

Sunday, June 05, 2005 - Movie day!

Lol the first rest day out of school since week 10! Haha... blame the camp and the physics! Went out with my mom today, after all i don't get to spend much time with her during the school term (aside from dinner, though i'm usually too busy watching TV to talk)

Went to orchard for some shopping when we popped by Lido to catch Madagascar and get some lunch. Of course after the show was over we saw the advert for Star wars so what they hey? We got tickets for another show =D

There was some time to spare between the two shows and we weren't plannning to waste any of it... we went shopping! Haha we walked all over the place, got new lip gloss and stuff. And we popped by bakerzinn for tea. The whole place was just crammed but we got a seat almost immediately. On the outside too!

Starwars was, well, starwarsified. Didn't really catch the other movies XD Mom liked it i think. And we were just about to go crazy and get tickets for monster-in-law when i noticed it was evening. So dragged mom home ^^
